In preparation to the Colloquium, the network ran three workshops in Edinburgh, Exeter and London led by Dr Jana Funke. Participants included Dr Heike Bauer, Dr Sean Brady, Dr Ivan Crozier, Dr Lesley Hall, Professor Kate Fisher, Dr Sarah Hayes, Dr Sally Newman, Dr Chris Nottingham, Dr Vike Martina Plock and Dr Angelique Richardson.
In April 2012, three network members - Chris Nottingham, Vike Martina Plock and Jana Funke - organised and presented papers as part of a special panel on Havelock Ellis and Literary Culture at the British Society for Literature and Science (BSHS) Conference at the University of Oxford.
Also in April 2012, Dr Rebecca Langlands and Jana Funke presented a paper on Havelock Ellis and sexological uses of Rome at the ROMOSEXUALITY Conference at the University of Durham.
